It’s rare to see art exploring the occult where Black people are represented, which is curious, considering that much of the world’s earliest pagan and spiritual practices originated in Africa and still thrive today. I want to see more of that narrative reclaimed in art, more mysticism, more magic, more power.

By the way, the Death card in Tarot often gets a bad reputation, feared for its name alone. In truth, it’s one of the most positive and transformative symbols - representing renewal, rebirth, and profound personal growth.
