The Thinker Original Acrylic Painting

I used to ask my mother why it was us women who had to suffer so much - a distinctive amount more than the other gender. She told me it is because we are strong enough to withstand it. My main subject to paint has always been women, and especially African women specifically because they represent quiet internal power, resounding beauty and resilience.
