Mask o Deity 5

Exploring the Pan African actual function of deity masks -  where each mask that is worn invokes a specific ancient spirit within the wearer. The masks were carved to have a particular feature enhanced to represent which spirit it was. For example, using sad eye shapes, or large mouth openings, or enormous pointed ears - all represent the spirit associated with these enhanced features.
