Using dots as a form of mark making connects me to ancient African artistic traditions, where simple tools like leaves, sticks, and even fingers were used to create patterns and stories. I find this approach deeply grounding - a way of reconnecting with Tanzanian culture - and the process itself is incredibly therapeutic.
